BCAC’s Step by Step giving women what they want

“Informative”, “helpful” and “useful" – these are the words newly diagnosed women use to describe the Breast Cancer Aotearoa Coalition’s Step by Step support pack, according to a recent analysis of

More women taking up free breast screening

Rotorua Undies Dash and Splash

Looking for something fun to do on a winter afternoon?

Join competitors in the Rotorua Undies Dash and Splash on Saturday, June 23 from midday.

Taking place at the Lakefront in Rotorua you can turn heads by being part of hundreds of runners in undies-themed costumes as they “dash & splash” their way through the 1km fun run with obstacles. There are prizes for the winning and best-dressed participants.

Early bird registration is just $10 pp at the Fire & Ice Mid-Winter Festival Stall at the Rotorua Night Market (June 7, 14 and 21). Normal registration fee of $12 pp applies from June 22 onwards. Part of the proceeds will be donated to BCAC and the Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ.

This is a public event with families around, so be creative with your undies-themed costumes but keep it PG. Nudity, thongs and Borat mankinis are strictly prohibited. See page 2 of the registration form for a full list of the event rules.

BCAC committee members and supporters will also be there distributing information about BCAC and cheering the competitors on so look out for their stall and drop by to say hi.
