Meet your panel
Richard Harman is a surgeon at North Shore Hospital (Auckland) who specialises in breast cancer surgery and will be speaking about breast surgery options.
Michelle McAteer-Ross was diagnosed with breast cancer aged 51 and will talk to us about her experience of surgery and after-care.
Kylie Tietjens is a BCFNZ nurse who has worked in breast surgery and recovery. She will be talking about post-operative care, including complications.
What will you get out of this session?
This webinar will focus on breast cancer surgery and recovery. Whether you’re preparing for surgery or have experienced post-surgery complications, you will have the opportunity to ask questions to our panel of experts. From surgical options, to lymph nodes and post-operative care, a variety of topics will be covered.
The last 15 minutes of the session will take the form of a Q&A, where BCFNZ's experts answer your most pressing questions.
