It’s not too late to talk to political candidates about increasing NZ’s medicines budget. Too few are aware of the dire situation that many NZ women with advanced breast cancer find themselves in – having to find the money to privately fund their treatments, or go without. BCAC is hugely grateful to Judith Ansell, whose video for the Forbidden Pharmacy campaign so eloquently captures the dreadful dilemmas that so many face. Watch Judith’s video here. BCAC also thanks the 10,000+ people who have signed the Forbidden Pharmacy Open Letter to Parliament calling for better access to medicines in Aotearoa. It’s not too late to add your name – go to this link and sign. Talk to the candidates in your area about your concern for cancer patients and everyone else needing unfunded medicines. Let’s keep this urgent issue ‘front of mind’ in the build-up to the election!
