Moana is a mum of two with secondary breast cancer. She’s been very involved in various groups advocating for greater access to medicines for breast cancer patients.

She’s a firm believer of the need to be “at the table” and says it’s important to hear from Maori and Pasifika women who have worse breast cancer outcomes.

Moana says publicly funding more cancer medicines would make a massive difference to many people’s lives. Note: Sadly Moana passed away in February 2017.
