University of Auckland School of Nursing PhD student Xuanyue Zhang is looking for women to participate in a study looking at wellbeing, coping and support among Chinese immigrant women after breast cancer treatment in New Zealand. Xuanyue’s goal is to learn more about the experiences and needs of these women, so that future recovery and support services can be better tailored to their needs.

Participants will take part in a one-on-one, 30-60 minute interview with the researcher, online via Zoom or in person. The interview can be in Mandarin, Cantonese, or English. Participants will receive a NZD $30 grocery voucher. You can read more about the study here.

If you would like to help and are 18 years or older, are of Chinese background, were born in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan, moved to NZ and are living here now, and have completed primary breast cancer treatment (surgery, chemotherapy and or radiotherapy), please contact Xuanyue directly by emailing her at xuanyue.zhang@auckland.ac.nz

This study is approved  by the Auckland Health Research Ethics Committee (ref. no. AH31174).
