Breast Reconstruction Information Evening

Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau and Breast Cancer Foundation NZ are hosting a free Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) evening on Wednesday 18th October 2023, at Rimu Rooms, Novotel Auckland Ellerslie, 72-112 Greenlane East, Ellerslie, Auckland. 
It's a great opportunity to learn more about options for breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. This event is open to the public, whānau and health professionals.

World Dense Breast Day

World Dense Breast Day aims to raise awareness and knowledge of breast density. Click here to learn more about this international effort and to find lots of excellent information on this topic.  As well as masking the presence of tumours on mammograms, high breast density is also a risk factor for getting breast cancer.
